Switching your personal Instagram profile to a business one is a very simple process:
Open your app and go to your personal profile. Tap the “gear/settings” icon on the top-right corner.
Make sure your profile is set to public. Private accounts can’t switch to business accounts.
Tap “Switch to Business Profile.”
Select the Facebook page that you’d like to connect to your Instagram business account and tap “Next.”. If you don’t see your business’ Facebook page as an option, make sure that you’re listed as an admin of the Facebook business page (go into Facebook page settings menu).
On the “Set Up Your Business Profile” page, review your business’s contact information, including your phone number, physical address, and email. Once everything looks good, tap “Done” to save your Instagram business account settings.
You now have an official Instagram Business Profile and can start taking advantage of the many features offered!
